(LEAP) Let's Establish A Presence: 3 Sites, 3 TLDs, 3 Powers, 1 Theme.

I just referred a big-hearted friend to the following 3 sites:

1. Ashoka.org
2. Omidyar.net
3. Zaadz.com

Interestingly, I wasn't trying to select one domain each from 3 different Top-Level Domains (TLDs) - it just so happened that 3 of my favorite socio-entrepreneurial sites use .org, .net, and .com respectively.

Oddly enough, each seems to have a domain extension which appears to work better for its name than any of the other available domain options:

1. Ashoka.org seems well suited for .org,
2. Omidyar.net seems well suited for .net, and
3. Zaadz.com seems well suited for .com

Another point of interest for me is that they all have a common them: having a healthy obsession with helping to improve the world

I also noticed that each has established a presence on Linkedin, a platform which most of us think of as a "pure business" platform.

But pure business platform or hybrid, I think that having a presence on Linkedin could serve as more than just a theoretical means to grow your group.
